More about Natasha. The studio they rehearsed in has now been claimed by the bakery and turned into an extension of the bakery and an office. Not only did Bat For Lashes rehearse there in preparation for their second album, but The Kooks also recorded their second album there! (this is sarcasm) Charlie, who ran the studio, was an interesting fellow. He had a bit of a breakdown, I think, lost all his money in Amsterdam or something, and we capitalised on his misfortunes and bought up his studio space to house our spreading bread empire.
