Here I was writing the Island Man narrative, coming towards the end, then suddenly I switched back to writing the play. Why? Probably because I came to a natural end of a section on the island and maybe something sprung to mind in relation to the play, so I went back, to write an intimate mundane scene between two characters, which there is something in, I think.
