Any specifically Autumnal memories from that year? How about the first time we turned the heating on? How did we turn it on? Was it in the boiler in the kitchen? One of those flaps that opens? We rarely went out into the countryside for instance as we would do now, no that the we refers to different people, and so therefore I do not have any very clear memories of, say, the leaves having fallen off trees in fields to form a carpet of mulch.
