And so it carries on. It must be remembered that these notebooks contain my first attempts at writing. They do not contain finished, polished pieces of writing, but rather the raw material of the mind, unrefined and often probably uninteresting in the sense of entertainment and literature, but at the same time, always interesting in a psychological sense.
